The DRA Team Unbeatable showcased their exceptional archery prowess at the 1st Junior Archery Championship 2022, held at the prestigious KMC Sports Complex. With participants competing in the 5 meters junior, 18 meters, and 30 meters categories, the team left an indelible mark on the event. 

In the 10 meters male category, DRA Archer Shaffan Ali displayed incredible skill and determination, securing an impressive 3rd place. The 18 meters female category saw a remarkable achievement, with Amna Nazir claiming the top spot, closely followed by Shehzil Nasir in 2nd position.

In an exhilarating display of talent and precision, the Unbeatable Archers from De Royal Archers Club, Sufyan Ali and Shaffan Ali, made their mark at the 6th Student Olympic Games 2022 Archery Championship, securing an impressive 2nd and 3rd place, respectively, in their respective categories.

Glorious Triumph at the 73rd Punjab Games Lahore Archery Championship!

In a display of sheer archery brilliance, the Unbeatable Archers, Saad Hassan, M. Hassan Ahmed, and Areeb Hussain, stood tall as they represented Team Sindh in the prestigious National Level Event. With unwavering focus and determination, they showcased their exceptional talent and teamwork, securing an incredible Bronze Medal in the Team Event at the 73rd Punjab Games Lahore Archery Championship.

The championship, a celebration of sportsmanship and talent, drew archers from across the nation to compete at the highest level. Among them, Saad Hassan, M. Hassan Ahmed, and Areeb Hussain displayed exceptional skill, resilience, and camaraderie, making them a force to be reckoned with on the archery field.

We are proud to share with you the remarkable achievements of two exceptional archers from our center, Syed Aijaz Ali and Raja Akmal. In 2022, they had the honor of representing Pakistan internationally in the prestigious WAA Joint Training Program and Asia Challenge held in Wonju, Korea, from 7th to 11th November. 

For the first time in history, players and coaches from Sindh proudly carried the Green Flag at an international event, showcasing the immense talent and dedication present in our region.

On the 20th of November 2022, young archers from across the region gathered to compete in the highly anticipated Junior Champs Archery Tournament. Among these talented archers was the unstoppable force of nature, Manha, who left an indelible mark on the event by securing the prestigious Gold Medal in the fiercely contested 15 Meters Category. 

The tournament was a celebration of youthful passion, dedication, and sportsmanship, bringing together aspiring archers eager to prove their mettle. Amidst the cheering crowd and the palpable excitement, Manha’s unwavering focus and precise aim stood out, making her a standout performer throughout the competition.

Governor Sindh Initiative Karachi Games 2023: A Triumph of Unbeatable Archers!

The Governor Sindh Initiative Karachi Games 2023 brought together a mesmerizing display of archery talent, as more than 100 archers from different clubs enthusiastically participated in the event. Amidst the cheers and applause, the Unbeatable Archers stood tall, leaving an indelible mark with their outstanding performances across three captivating categories: 10 Meters Junior, 30 Meters Senior, and 70 Meters Professional. 

In the 30 Meters Female category, the resolute Archer Faheela showcased her unwavering focus and remarkable precision, earning her the prestigious 1st Place.

Once again, the DRA Unbeatable Archers showcased their extraordinary talent and dedication as they proudly represented the Provincial Team Sindh in the 10th National Archery Championship, held from the 15th to the 18th of March 2023 in DHA Lahore. This prestigious event was organized by the Pakistan Archery Federation, attracting archers from across the country. 

The journey to the championship began with a series of competitive trials conducted at the esteemed De Royal Archers (School of Excellence) Excellence Center, under the watchful eye of Syed Aijaz Ali, a Level 3 NTS Coach USA, and Technical Officials Certified by Pakistan Archery Federation.

Furqan, hailing from the esteemed De Royal Archers Club, showcased his dedication and expertise as a technical official at the 10th National Archery Championship held in DHA Lahore. His commitment to the sport was further underscored by his certification as a technical official from the Pakistan Archery Federation, a testament to his proficiency in ensuring the smooth conduct of archery events at a national level. 

Furqan’s contribution to the championship not only exemplified his club’s commitment to excellence but also served as a source of pride for the De Royal Archers Club.

Among the notable participants were Maaz and Mashhood, representing the Pakistan Railway Team. Both individuals hail from the esteemed Royal Archers Club at the DRA Excellence Centre, demonstrating their prowess and dedication to the sport. 

A particularly remarkable figure in the championship was Sir Mashhood, a seasoned archer well into his 50s.

34th National Games Quetta 2023

Triumph and Team Spirit: Sindh Shines at the 34th National Games in Quetta

The 34th National Games, hosted in the vibrant city of Quetta, were a celebration of athleticism, camaraderie, and sporting excellence. Amidst the fervor, the Sindh Team emerged as a force to be reckoned with, demonstrating unwavering dedication and unyielding spirit. The team’s perseverance was epitomized by the outstanding performance of Areeb Hussain, an accomplished archer from the prestigious DRA Excellence Center. Making history for Sindh, Areeb Hussain’s remarkable achievement secured a remarkable 6th position, adding a glorious feather to the team’s cap and instilling a sense of pride in all who supported them.

In a celebration of independence, the Sindh Archery Association, in collaboration with the Al-Nadi Al-Burhani Club, orchestrated a thrilling Independence Day Archery Championship on the 27th of August 2023. Among the participants were skilled archers from the esteemed DRA (De Royal Archers) Club, who showcased their talent and determination on the field.

The 18th SINDH Games, hosted by the Sindh Archery Association in collaboration with the DRA Excellence Center at KMC Sports Complex, witnessed exhilarating feats of athleticism in two categories: 70m and 18m indoor. The DRA archers showcased their exceptional skills, garnering praise and accolades throughout the competition. 

In the fiercely contested 70m male category, Areeb Hussain demonstrated his prowess by clinching the gold medal, with Hassan and Abdul Wasay securing the silver and bronze medals, respectively.

We are delighted to look back on the resounding success of the 1st Junior Archery Championship, which took place on the 26th of June 2022 at the esteemed KMC Sports Complex. This remarkable event witnessed the spirited participation of over 80 talented young archers hailing from diverse clubs. 

With passion and determination, these young athletes showcased their skills, captivating the audience with breathtaking displays of precision and focus. Throughout the day, the air was filled with excitement and camaraderie as participants embraced the spirit of healthy competition.

The 7th Student Olympic Games, organized by Student Olympics, received invaluable support from the DRA Excellence Centre at the KMC Sports Complex Football Ground. De Royal Archers Excellence Center, in partnership with Sindh Archery Association and esteemed clubs like BA Kaman, recently organized a comprehensive three-day training initiative dubbed the SAA Joint Training Program. This program, held at the DRA Excellence Center within the KMC Sports Complex, 22nd till 24th September aimed to provide personalized assessment and training to students ranging from school to university levels, as well as intermediate and professional archers.

Trials for 1st Junior National Archery Championship Organized by Sindh Archery Association

Sindh Archery Association recently conducted trials for the upcoming 1st Junior National Archery Championship DHA Lahore, featuring categories spanning 18m, 30m, and 50m distances. Under the watchful supervision of the esteemed De Royal Archers Excellence Center and their distinguished coaches, Head Coach Syed Aijaz Ali and Assistant Coach Akmal Khan, aspiring archers vied for a coveted spot on the Junior National Team. 

The trials provided a platform for young archers to showcase their skills and compete for the opportunity to represent their region at the national level.

DRA Excellence Center Hosts Workshop for IDBSA Ismaili District Boy Scout Association

On October 29, 2023, the DRA Excellence Center organized a one-day Archery workshop tailored for the Ali Jiwani Scouts Group (IDBSA) Ismaili District Boy Scout Association. The workshop aimed to equip scouts with essential skills in Archery, a fundamental aspect of scouting proficiency integrated into the badge system. 

Participating in the workshop, the Scout Group of Ali Jiwani immersed themselves in learning the intricacies of Archery from the ground up.

Over 50 athletes from different clubs participated in the trials, with the DRA Unbeatable Archers standing out and earning their spot to represent Sindh Green (Men’s and Women’s) Team and Sindh White (Men’s and Women’s) Team.

In a historic feat, the Sindh Green Team achieved a Bronze Medal for the first time in the National Archery Championship’s history, besting Team KPK (Khebar Pakhtunkhwa). The Team Set Match was an intense battle, with members Areeb Hussain, Raja Akmal, Saad Hassan and Zia Ul Islam exhibiting exceptional teamwork and dedication. 

Raja Akmal, one of the Unbeatable Archers, set an unprecedented record with a provincial high score of 596, a feat that remains unbroken and sets the bar for the highest score in Sindh’s archery history. 

The DRA Unbeatable Archers’ remarkable achievements have not only brought pride to their club but also to the entire province of Sindh. Their unwavering commitment to excellence and determination in the sport of archery have left a lasting impact on the archery community and serve as an inspiration to aspiring athletes across the region.

The Male category proved equally awe-inspiring, with Areeb Hussain blazing a trail to the top, triumphantly claiming the Gold Medal. Hassan Ahmed displayed incredible skill and determination, securing the Silver Medal, while Maaz Maqsood’s impressive performance earned him the esteemed Bronze Medal.

The Team Set Match was an intense and gripping battle, with Sindh Team members Areeb Hussain, Hassan Ahmed, Saad Hassan, and Raja Akmal exhibiting remarkable teamwork and determination. 

Furthermore, the DRA Unbeatable Female Archer, Ambreen, displayed outstanding skills, contributing significantly to the team’s high score and successfully earning her place among the top 16 archers. 

These remarkable achievements not only brought immense pride to the DRA Club and Provincial Team Sindh but also stand as a testament to the relentless commitment, hard work, and perseverance of the DRA Unbeatable Archers. Their talent and dedication continue to shine, making them an inspiration for archers across the nation.

The success of DRA Archers in the 7th Student Olympic Games Archery Championship not only underscores their individual excellence but also reflects the collective commitment to excellence fostered by the DRA Excellence Center. As ambassadors of the sport, Shehla Anjum, Sadaf, and their fellow archers inspire aspiring athletes to pursue their dreams and strive for excellence in the field of archery. 

Similarly, Sanober and Muskaan impressed in the Under-21 Category Team Event, securing another silver medal for the DRA contingent. The mixed team of Moazzam and Muskaan added to the medal tally with yet another silver. 

Individually, Sanober’s outstanding performance earned her the gold medal in the Individuals Event, further cementing the DRA archers’ dominance in the competition. Moazzam’s exceptional achievement in the qualification round cannot be overlooked, as his score of 312 out of 360 set a new record high for the Junior National Archery Championship in Pakistan’s history, marking a remarkable milestone for junior archers nationwide. Additionally M. Omer, DRA Archer Secure 2nd position in 30 Meters category Individuals Event, and in the Team Event M. Omer & Murtaza Mustafa secure Gold medal for Sindh Junior Team as well as in the Mix Team Event M. Omer & Aiza Shahadat Secure Bronze Medal for Sindh Juniors Team in 30 Meters.  

The triumph of the De Royal Excellence Centre archers not only signifies their individual talents but also underscores the dedication and excellence fostered within the DRA community. Meanwhile, in the 70m female category, Sanobar’s stellar performance earned her the gold medal, followed by Shehla with silver and Emaan with bronze. 

Transitioning to the 18m indoor event, the DRA team of Maaz, Hassan and Moazzam emerged victorious, claiming the gold medal in the team event. Among the female competitors, Shehla, Sanobar, and Emaan exhibited exceptional teamwork, securing the gold medal for their outstanding performance. 

Individually, Hassan’s outstanding skills earned him the gold medal in the 18m male category, while Maaz and Omar secured the silver and bronze medals, respectively. Similarly, in the female category, Sanobar’s remarkable performance earned her the gold medal, with Shehla and Emaan following closely with silver and bronze. 

The 18th SINDH Games Archery Competition showcased the remarkable talent and dedication of the DRA archers, as they triumphed in various categories, leaving a lasting impression on spectators and competitors alike. 

Aiza’s impressive display earned her the silver medal in the 18m female category, demonstrating precision and determination. Meanwhile, Shehla Anjum soared to victory, securing the gold medal in the fiercely contested 30m category, further solidifying DRA’s reputation for excellence on the archery scene.

The championship witnessed the enthusiastic participation of Departmental teams and Provincial teams, with over 120 talented players competing in both men’s and women’s categories.

Led by the expertise of Level 4 coach Syed Aijaz Ali and Assistant Coach Level 2 Instructor Mohammad Akmal Khan, participants were immersed in a variety of training modules tailored to their individual skill levels. From individual drills to peer-based exercises, the program offered a diverse range of training opportunities aimed at honing archery skills and fostering camaraderie among participants. 

By bringing together a mix of aspiring archers and seasoned professionals, the SAA Joint Training Program exemplified a collaborative approach to skill development within the archery community. Through expert guidance and hands-on training, participants were empowered to elevate their performance and reach new heights in their archery journey.

With guidance from experienced coaches, participants underwent rigorous assessments and training sessions aimed at refining their technique and enhancing their competitive edge.

Led by the expertise of Head Coach Syed Aijaz Ali and Assistant Coach Akmal Khan, the trials exemplified a commitment to nurturing talent and fostering excellence within the junior archery community. As the selected athletes prepare to embark on their journey to the Junior National Archery Championship, they carry with them the invaluable guidance and support of their coaches and the Sindh Archery Association. 

From mastering basic techniques to understanding advanced strategies, scouts gained valuable insights into this essential scouting discipline. 

Recognizing Archery as a cornerstone of scouting proficiency, the workshop emphasized the importance of every scout acquiring a foundational understanding of Archery. By imparting essential tips and tricks, the DRA Excellence Center empowered scouts to enhance their proficiency and contribute effectively to their scouting endeavors.
